Human Resources Statement

The Human Resources Department is
dedicated to managing and
providing the Six Nations Council
and its departments with effective
services pertaining to Human
Resources requirements, in a fair,
equitable and respectful manner.

Human Resources
The Human Resources Department was
created in June 1993. At that time
Council employed approximately 300
staff on a Full-Time; Part-Time;
and/or Term and/or Program basis.

In September 2002, the Department of
Indian Affairs & Northern Development
(DIAND) took the Education Component
back and this was no longer a position
within the Human Resources Department.

In June 2003, the Payroll Services were taken out from the Human Resources Department and placed within the Six Nations Finance Department.

2. Attendence
3. Policies & Procedures
4. Staffing
5. Application of Policy in relation to:
-Family Support & Garnishment
-Canada Savings Bonds
-Unjust Dismissals
-Attendance & Timesheets for Managers
-Family Support & Garnishment
6. Human Resources Review with regards to Classifications, Ranges, etc.;
7. Health & Safety;
8. Human Resources Manager;
