Six Nations Community Members Join Rally in Ottawa
01/24/12 – Thirty-two people from a six year old to elders braved the
cold darkness to take a coach bus to Ottawa on January 24, 2012.
Leaving at 4 a.m., they travelled six hours to attend the first and
historic First Nations and Crown Gathering. Some of the Six Nations
community members carried signs bearing messages: “It won’t take
forever if we stick together”, “Peace Friendship Respect”, “We will
never give up defending the land”, “Stop interfering with ...
