Lands/Membership - Membership Program

The Membership program of the Lands/Membership Department oversees the following programs and services:

  •  Report Life Events, this includes: Births, Death, Marriages, Divorces

  •  Report Life Events, this includes: Births, Death, Marriages, Divorces

  •  Band Transfers: Internal Transfers, From Other First Nations

  •  Blood Quantum letters

  •  Issuance of Certificate of Indian Status Cards

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON ISSUANCE OF INDIAN STATUS CARDS

  •  Status Cards are issued on Thursday or Friday only between
8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. no exceptions

  •  For Any Status Cards 30 Day Waiting Policy for all Lost Cards

  •  To receive card the same day the old status card must be returned in
plus one piece of I.D.

Costs

First Card: $5.00

Senior $5.00 Age 55 and over

Adult $10.00 Age 18 and over

1st Lost Card $ 20.00

Any lost or stolen card replacement requires $20.00 plus $5.00 for each additional lost card

Acceptable I.D.

  •  Birth Certificate

  •  Drivers License

  •  Passport

  •  Student Identification

  •  Employee Identification Card

  •  Provincial ID Card (With Photo)

  •  Firearms Acquisition Certificate

  •  Guarantor Form

No photocopies will be excepted as I.D.
