Welfare - Innovations The employment component of Six Nations Welfare, Innovations offers programming in-house entitled "Pathways to independence" a 4 week program to assist with developing and fine tuning an indivdual's plan to become independent of welfare. During this program opportunities will be given to learn about potential career paths and assistance will be provided on developing a plan to get there. Innovations offers assistance in the following area's: •  Developing a "Plan of Action" •  Financial assistance ti implement a "Plan of Action" •  Help identify barriers to employment and assist with removing those barriers •  establishing priorities, setting goals •  Research, obtain and maintain employment •  Assist with upgrading or continuing education, skill training, personal development •  Offers workshops for personal development, career discovery & research, how to search, find and maintain a job •  Promote personal marketing •  Guest speakers •  Site tours •  Gaining hours towards an OSSD •  Cover letter and resume preparation for specific jobs •  Assist in preparing for interviews with sample interview questions •  NETWORKING    Return To Welfare Department Welfare - Location Six Nations Welfare\ Six Nations Innovations P.
