Six Nations Mourns Thirteenth Community Member Lost to COVID-19

On September 21, 2021, Six Nations of the Grand River Elected Council received confirmation from Ohsweken Public Health that a thirteenth community member passed away due to COVID-19 on Friday, September 17.

Six Nations Council sends their deepest condolences to the family and those impacted by the tragic loss of this community member.

This latest COVID-19-related death comes only a week after a twelfth community member passed due to COVID-19 on September 10.

Community members are reminded of the importance of continuing to follow public health measures to prevent any further loss of life within the community.
