Rogers Hometown Hockey Postponed Due to COVID-19 Pandemic
Six Nations of the Grand River Elected Council has regretfully made the decision to postpone the Rogers Hometown Hockey event at Six Nations to a later date.
Our first priority has always been the health and safety of Six Nations. The rising COVID-19 case numbers across the province and concerns surrounding the spread of the Omicron variant have presented great difficulties in planning a full festival event for the community. Both the Six Nations team and the team at Rogers and Sportsnet are committed to providing the full Hometown Hockey experience to Six Nations, and we look forward to doing so when it’s safe.
We will continue to provide updates on Rogers Hometown Hockey as they become available. In the meantime we encourage everyone to continue practicing public health measures in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19.
