Dept: Early Years Child Care, Social Services, closing on December 17, 2025

JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Manager Early Years Child Care Services, the Child Care Supervisor will have a strong theoretical background in practice of early childhood education and is able to “plan and deliver inclusive play based learning and care programs” for children of all ages. Supports the development, organization, implementation, coordination and evaluation of the child care program.
The Supervisor will motivate and nurture staff in achieving excellence required through College of Early Childhood Educators Standard of Practice and Code of Ethics. The Supervisor will maintain a child care license under Ministry of Education Child Care Early Years Act, with reference to the following documents Think Feel Act, How Does Learning Happen, Excerpts from ELECT document, and also with comply with Six Nations Elected Council Employment Policy, the Six Nations Council Health and Safety Guidelines, Six Nations Child Care Procedures and Guidelines and Parent Handbook.

Wage: $75,426 per year
