JOB SUMMARY: The Knoha:’ah (My Auntie) reports to and works under the direction and supervision of the Maternal Child and Youth Health Manager, Health Services, Six Nations Elected Council. Under the direction of the Six Nations Maternal Child and Youth Health Manager, the Knoha:`ah (my auntie) will work directly with clients and their families to strengthen their knowledge in Hodinohshoni culture, values, and roles and responsibilities. The program Auntie will also act as a resource to the Child and Youth Health Team in its development and delivery of culturally safe services. The role of Kno: ha: ‘ah is to preserve and promote traditional Hodinoshoni practices, thereby enhancing a positive and strong cultural identity among clients and staff.
