JOB SUMMARY: The Native Inmate Liaison Officer reports to and receives direction from the Justice Director. The Native Inmate Liaison Officer (NILO) will be directly accountable to the Six Nations Justice Department Director. The Native Inmate Liaison (NILO) provides leadership, cultural awareness, peer counselling and other services to the Indigenous offenders. They are the link between the offenders and Indigenous communities. The Native Inmate Liaison Officer (NILO) helps ensure the offender’s culture and spiritual needs are understood and met.

Wage: $29.07/hour – Contract – 1 year
