SNGR to Host Stanley Cup Viewing Party to Support Brandon Montour
Let’s gather and cheer for one of our own, as Brandon Montour competes for the Stanley Cup. To celebrate and show support of Brandon and the Panthers SNGR will be tying red bows and placing mini jersey decals around the community.
Brandon Montour and his Florida Panthers teammates are taking on the Vegas Golden Knights for the Stanley Cup. Six Nations of the Grand River (SNGR) wants to help the community come together and cheer on our local hero. Brandon and the Panthers will take on Zach Whitecloud (Sioux Valley Dakota Nation) and the Vegas Golden Knights.
SNGR is hosting viewing parties during every game of the Stanley Cup final. The first event will take place at The Gathering Place, located at 2593 Chiefswood Rd, Ohsweken. The community is welcome to watch the game, enjoy each other’s company, and have a great time. There will be food and more.
Game 1 of the Stanley Cup final is Saturday at 8 p.m. Doors for the viewing party open at 7:15 p.m.
It will be a good place to view the game during the planned Hydro One power outage taking place in Six Nations, beginning at 10 p.m. Saturday. If the game goes beyond 10pm the event will be powered by a generator.
We are also happy to be expecting members of the media to the event. During the event, photography, audio, video, and livestream recording may occur. If you feel uncomfortable with footage or photos being taken, please let us know and we will accommodate you.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to gather and support one of our own, as he pursues the most prestigious prize in all of hockey.”
