Six Nations of the Grand River Elected Council to streamline its meetings
Six Nations of the Grand River Elected Council (SNGREC) has announced that its Political Liaison meetings will now be in-camera only.
The SNGREC General Finance and General Council meetings will remain open and streamed live on the Six Nations of the Grand River Facebook page.
SNGREC acknowledges this change may be disappointing for some community members who have relied on the livestreams to stay informed. Elected Council will rely on its Political Updates, Political Newsletters, and Radio Reports to get its message out to the public in a timely, and transparent fashion. SNGREC believes that this decision is in the best interest of the community.
“We believe that by streamlining our meetings, we can better serve the Six Nations
community,” Chief Sherri-Lyn Hill said.”
