COMMUNITY NOTICE: ELEMENTARY/SECONDARY PRIVATE SCHOOL TUITION ASSISTANCE – 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR DEADLINE
For Immediate Release: September 17th, 2025  OHSWEKEN, ON – Six Nations members who exercise their right to send their children to a school that is not located on Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation or part of the local or catholic school boards in Grand Erie, Brant, Haldimand, and Norfolk may be eligible for elementary or secondary school tuition assistance.

Is your child ordinarily resident on the Six Nations reserve? Is your child aged 4 or older? Is your child enrolled in or attending elementary or secondary school? If you’ve answered yes to all three questions, you may be eligible for tuition assistance (paid directly to the school on the parents’/guardians’ behalf).

To determine if your child is eligible for tuition assistance, parents/guardians are encouraged to: 

Complete a Nominal Roll Recommendation Form (sections 1-3) for each child. 

Secure someone to complete section 4 – attestation.

Submit the completed form to Indigenous Services Canada Ontario Region at ON.educaton-education@sac.isc.gc.ca.

For a copy of the Nominal Roll Recommendation Form, visit the Administration Building or call: (519) 445-2201.

The deadline to submit completed forms is September 30, 2025. Please note, forms received after September 30, 2025, may not be eligible
